Human GHRH is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 29 amino
acids and having a molecular mass of 3358 Dalton.
Corresponds to
the amino-terminal segment of the naturally occurring human growth
hormone-releasing hormone consisting of 44 amino acid
residues.

The protein (1mg/ml) was lyophilized after extensive dialyses against 1.7mg sodium phosphate buffer (0.1 mg sodium phosphate monobasic & 1.6mg sodium phosphate dibasic).

Solubility:
The lyophilized HuGHRH is very soluble in water and most aqueous buffers.
The
reconstituted solution has a pH of 5.0 to 5.5.

Lyophilized
HuGHRH although stable at room temperature, should be
stored desiccated below 0°C.
Reconstituted HuGHRH is
best stored refrigerated at 4°C.

Biological
Activity:
Our
HuGHRH is fully biologically active, increases plasma growth hormone concentrations by
directly stimulating the anterior pituitary gland to release natural human
growth hormone.

than 0.1 ng/µg (IEU/µg) of HuGHRH.

Protein
content:
Protein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods:
1. UV spectroscopy at 280 nm
2. Analysis by RP-HPLC, using a calibrated
solution of GHRH as a Reference Standard.
